StrikeIron is adding several new real-time financial offerings to its on-demand web services network, pushing it past the 1,000 mark in products.

StrikeIron’s Web Services Business Network offers information from portfolio analysis to corporate and mutal fund information.

Available on a “pay-per-use” basis are StrikeIron Market Indices, StrikeIron Mutual Funds, StrikeIron Securities and StrikeIron Exchanges.

StrikeIron recently added Excel spreadsheet capabilities to its networks, and subscribers can transfer information from the financial offerings into Excel with a drag and drop process.

“Web services deliver an unparalleled efficiency of distributing real-time data and on-demand information,” said Richard Holcomb, chairman and CEO of StrikeIron, in a statement. “Developers and business users are able to take advantage of an easier and more cost-effective option for accessing and integrating real-time financial market data into Web sites, financial applications and any business applications to improve real-time business decision making.”
