SAS and Procuri, a provider of strategic sourcing solutions, have teamed up to win a spend management system contract with Blyth, a $1.5 billion company.
Blyth is a designer and marketer of home decorative and fragranced products. The company will use SAS supplier relationship management software and a suite of customer support solutions from Atlanta-based Procuri.
The SAS software will be used in procurement and supply-chain spending. Procuri’s products will be utilized to handle requests for information and other reports.
“We understand the real value comes for Blyth from actually acting on the knowledge you gain from having better insight into spend information,” said Linda Peyton, Blyth’s senior manager for procurement technology, in a statement. “To increase efficiency and reduce costs, Blyth needed to streamline and standardize its sourcing processes. SAS and Procuri allow us to do that as well as leverage our own internal information to identify savings opportunities and achieve measurable results.”
