Inlet Technologies, a startup focused on compression and other applications for production and distribution of high-definition content, is looking for corporate partners to help it advance HD encoding.
Inlet’s early access program is designed to provide partners with access to some of its technology and help it further develop the Inlet Fathom platform already developed.
Two companies have already signed on. Akimbo Systems and CinemaNow are involved in video-on-demand research and development.
“We are seeking leading organizations that are currently working with high-definition content to join us as we develop pioneering products that make HD accessible, affordable and efficient,” said John Bishop, a senior vice president for Inlet.
