SAS and the Meta Group are working together to launch a new service for assessment of information technology at client companies.
The IT Information Excellence program is being offered first in Europe.
Meta Group is an international consulting firm.
“Since IT-enabled change can increase worker productivity, safety, speed, and quality, the use of IT-based data as intelligent information will evolve to accommodate these various measures of performance,” said Lutz Peichert, vice president of Meta Group Consulting, in a statement. “The assessment will dramatically accelerate the IT organization’s evolution to become a true business-supporting organization enhancing balanced scorecards, performance engineering and IT-enabled change management.”
SAS and meta will offer an evaluation of an IT organization’s infrastructure, processes, people and its culture.
