MENLO PARK,A national survey of chief information officers finds that 11 percent of CIOs expect to be hiring additional information technology people in 2005.

The survey, out today from California-based Robert Half Technology, said two eprcent of CIOs expect to make reductions.

Robert Half notes that the survey results are up 3 percentage points from the previous quarter and are six percentage points higher than the same period in 2003.
