Leslie Bevacqua Coman, a lobbyist who has worked on behalf of business and jobs issues, is joining the staff at Capstrat in January.
Coman is cited as one of the 50 most effective lobbyists and the highest-ranking female lobbyist in North Carolina, according to the Center for Public Policy.
Currently, Coman is vice president of governmental affairs for North Carolina Citizens for Business and Industry. She also served as the chairperson for the steering committee of North Carolinians for Jobs & Progress, which led support for the North Carolina Amendment One campaign.
Coman has worked as a lobbyist for 20 years. She will represent Capstrat clients who have business before the N.C. General Assembly or in executive branch agencies of state government.
