MORRISVILLE –Tekelec, a developer of networking hardware and software, has promoted Scott Weidenfeller to senior vice president of global marketing.
Tekelec is based in California and has a major facility in Morrisville.
Weidenfeller will be in charge of including strategic marketing, marketing communications, channel and partner management, global market development and global sales operations.
Weidenfeller worked for Santera Systems, which Tekelec acquired last year. Following the acquisition he was named vice president of business development. Weidenfeller has also worked for Nortel and Network Access Corporation.
