Harris Microwave Communications, a provider of wireless services and hardware, has won a contract for a microwave network in Brazil.
Brasil Telecom SA will use Harris gear as part of a point-to-point, high-speed wireless backbone. It will be used for voice and data traffic.
Harris microwave radio gear known as Truepoint has also been approved for use in Brazil.
The microwave division is one of four groups that make up Harris Corporation.
