The Weather Channel’s web site, (www.weather.com ), is the web’s best general interest site for 2004, according to the Web Marketing Association (WMA).

WMA judges rated sites on design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity and ease of use. The group was founded in 1997.
Site traffic at Weather.com has soared in 2004 due in part to the turbulent hurricane season. Nielsen/Net Ratings said that the site generated 29.7 million unique users and 846 million page views in September alone.

The Weather Channel also makes weather information available for mobile users and provides desktop tools.
