e-NC, the group focused on driving broadband availability across North Carolina, will host a conference about wireless options on Dec. 7-8.
“Southeast Wireless 2004: Broadband for Everyone — The Role of Wireless and Deploying Wireless” is the title of the conference. It will take place at the M.C. Benton Jr. Convention & Civic Center in Winston-Salem.
Speakers include Anthony Wilhelm, Director, Technology Opportunities Program for the US Department of Commerce; Tom Fisher, Vice President of Information Technology, Qualcomm; and George Stuart, Director, Global Wireless Services, Office of the CIO, Nortel Networks.
