Ann Garrett, chief information security officer for the State of North Carolina, was named the information security executive officer of the year by a trade group on Monday.
Garrett was recognized by the Executive Alliance, the Computer Security Institute and security firm Symantec at the CSI’s 31st annual meeting in Atlanta.
At the same session. Robby Ann Hamlin of the FBI chief for information technology security was selected as the Member’s Choice recipient.
