Pozen Names Novartis Exec as Head of Product Development

CHAPEL HILL –Marshall Reese, a former executive at Novartis, is the new executive vice president for product development at Pozen.

Reese has more than 25 years of experience in research and development. His most recent position was senior vice president and global head of research and development for consumer healthcare at Novartis. Reese also has worked as a vice president at Glaxo and GlaxoWellcome.

Reese has been involved in the approval of several drugs as well as transitioning three products to over-the-counter status. He received his BS, MS, and PhD degrees from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
