Peter Schutz, a retired CEO of Porsche and now an author, will talk about “The Driving Force” and winning in business at a talk sponsored by The Executive Committee, the Business Innovation & growth Council and the Young Entrepreneurs Organization on Monday night.
The event begins with a reception at 5:30 PM at Byron Hall.
His talk is based on his book “The Driving Force” with an emphasis on getting “extraordinary results from ordinary people.”
“A competitive advantage will rarely, if ever, consist of finding and hiring people who are more intelligent and innovative than those working for the competition. Such people are scarce,” Schutz has said. “There is reason to believe that the only lasting competitive advantage that any business can have consists of getting extraordinary results from ordinary people.”
