Thirteen Georgia-based companies have been selected to make presentations at the Atlanta CEO High Tech Council’s Investor Showcase.
The event is set for October 20. Attendance is by invitation only and is open to venture capitalists, corporate venture funds, and institutional investors.
Each of the 13 firms will get a chance to present business plans to investors from around the country. More than 40 companies applied for the presentation spots.
The selected companies are:
Representatives from investment firms already scheduled to attend include: Battery Ventures, Columbia Capital, H.I.G Ventures, JMI Equity, Mellon Ventures, New Enterprise Associates, Noro-Moseley Partners, Novak Biddle Venture Partners, and Summit Partners.
“Once again, we had a terrific pool of companies from which to choose,” said Harish Mamtani, CEO Council president, in a statement. “Now we’re excited to see the presentations at the upcoming Showcase and hope that many of these companies will find a funding partner.”
Companies that presented in 2003 went on to raise in excess of $120 million in funding.
Previous presenting companies were: Allconnect Inc., Alogent Corp., Broniec Associates, CardioMEMS Inc., CipherTrust Inc., Datatrac Corp., GuardedNet Inc., iVivity Inc., OverSight Technologies, SaluMedica LLC, Trusted Network Technologies, and Vesdia Corp.
The Investor Showcase will take place at the Biltmore Hotel beginning at 2 PM.
