Tino Mantella, who has more than 20 years of experience in leading volunteer organizations, is the Technology Association of Georgia’s new president.

Mantella replaces Steve Jeffery, who resigned in June to become chief executive officer of Brickstream.

“My plan is to listen to our members and work with TAG leaders to develop a business plan that will exceed our customers’ expectations,” Mantella said. “Our worth will be measured by the value we can add to our constituents.”

Mantella has held president and CEO positions with the National Arthritis Foundation and YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago. Before joining TAG, he was co-founder and president of Motivational Messaging LLC, a strategic marketing firm for non-profits, and president of TJM Consulting.

“Having Tino join TAG at this point allows him to be integrally involved in the process of developing TAG’s business model and value proposition,” said Martin Tilson of the law firm Kilpatrick Stockton and a member of the TAG executive committee. “His skill set and experience with volunteers and fundraising are the right combination for the organization.”

TAG will host its annual Georgia Technology Summit on Oct. 21.
