Lulu, the publishing startup launched by Red Hat co-founder Bob Young, is making on-demand publishing possible through a partnership with ColorCentric Corporation.

The Rochester, NY-based firm will deliver black and white or color manuscripts through its digital on-demand system.

Books can be ordered through as e-books or paperbacks.

Lulu offers more than 13,000 titles from a wide variety of authors and is adding more than 1,500 titles per month.

Orders for paperback-bound books can be printed within a day and a half, according to Lulu.
