Red Hat (Nasdaq: RHAT) will announce its quarterly earnings today with 19 analysts predicting earnings of 5 cents a share. Some estimates are as high as 7 cents, according to Thomson/First Call.
That compares to 2 cents a share in 2003.
Red Hat revenues are also forecast at between $45-$48 million.
Earnings will be announced at 5 PM. The conference call also marks the debut of Red Hat’s new chief financial officer, Charles Peters.
Red Hat closed at $15.23 on Friday, up 5 cents.
