BURLINGTON,TriPath Imaging has signed a five-year supply agreement with Ventana Medical Systems under which Ventana will sell a branded version of TriPath’s interactive imaging system.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
“Ventana is committed to providing complete system solutions for anatomic pathology laboratories worldwide. This agreement enables us to accelerate the expansion of our leadership position in automation and workflow solutions,” said Christopher Gleeson, president and CEO of Ventana, in a statement. “This interactive imaging system will give pathologists a workflow-friendly tool to provide even greater value to both oncologists and patients.”
The system utilizes on-demand digital imaging, direct visualization of tissue slides, and quantitative analysis of those slides.
