Verso Technologies, a developer of communications solutions, says it is setting up an interoperability lab for the testing and validation of its Voice over Internet Protocol products.
The lab, which will be in Atlanta, is intended to help third parties test such Verso products as gateways, softswitches, network applications and end-user devices.
Verso said it is offering the lab as a pre-sales service to potential clients.
“By validating interoperability with other products for our customers, before they make a purchase decision, we are further strengthening our commitment to building solutions that deliver real value to the marketplace,” said Jim McKenna, Verso’s chief technology officer, in a statement. “Our facility enables customers and partners to evaluate the performance of voice traffic that originates and terminates over the various elements in their networks–whether that traffic originates from analog phones, digital handsets, IP phones or softphones.”
