South River Technologies, a provider of file management and website management services, has purchased a high-speed data line through Bandwidth.com, citing the Cary firm’s ability to deliver reliability and customer service.

Bandwidth.com does not provide telecommunications services. Rather, it provides clients choices of providers plus oversight of installation and an accelerated troubleticket process for its clients to network service providers.

South River, which is based in Annapolis, MD, purchased a T-1 high-speed line from an undisclosed provider through Bandwidth.com.

“We shopped around and found that Bandwidth.com had the best offering at an excellent price point,” said Michael J. Ryan, co-founder and CEO of South River Technologies, in a statement. “Bandwidth.com was also most responsive to our initial inquiries, and that level of service continued throughout the entire purchasing and installation process.”

Bandwidth.com’s services include Pricing Portfolio, Installation Advantage and Trouble Ticket Accelerator.

South River Technologies clients include MIT, Columbia University, Virginia Tech, Hong Kong Polytechnic, the University of Maryland and UC, San Diego. Other users include NASA Glenn Research Center and the US Navy Surface Warfare along with British Petroleum and Toronto Dominion Bank.
