US LEC To Raise $150 Million in Private Placement

US LEC plans to raise $150 million through a private stock placement, the telecommunications company said Monday.

US LEC said the funds would be used to be pay off other debt and to provide money for capital spending. It said the amount being raised was sufficient to repay all indebtedness in its current senior credit facility.
