StrikeIron, a developer of web services and software, unveiled its latest premium online product — a “Do Not Call” offering — on Monday.

The service is designed to help companies that must comply with guidelines from the Federal Trade Commission about marketing.

The service is available through its Web Services Business Network (WSBizNet).

StrikeIron’s service enables firms to link to the “Do Not Call” data bases as provided by the FTC, states and Direct Marketing Association databases.

“With the increased focus by the FTC, the Do Not Call Premium Web Service is a critical enabler for firms to ensure compliance and avoid potential fines of up to $11,000 per call,” said Richard Holcomb, chairman and CEO of StrikeIron, in a statement. “Furthermore, as a Premium Web Service available through the StrikeIron Web Services Business Network, customers can be assured of the web service’s reliability, performance, and security.”

Other web services offerings include tax data systems sales and use tax rates, mobile messaging and address verification.
