KMC Telecom, one of the largest competitive local exchange carriers in the US, will deploy mediation software from Atlanta-based Intec Telecom Solutions as part of its switch billing system.
The Inter-mediatE solution is designed to help telephone companies track and process traffic at the switch and match with what is billed.
“KMC needed a mediation solution that could handle our network and service evolution,” said George Stowers, IT manager of KMC’s operations center in Georgia. “Not only did Intec have the best solution for our needs, they are a stable company with local support and development.”
