Discovery Communications, which operates The Discovery Channel, has picjed video-on-demand applications from N2Broadband to support propduction of VOD content.

N2 Broadband has developed one-click encoding applications for editing content, inserting ads, and other content. Its Xport products are already used by such firms as HBO, Starz-Encore, Time Warner Cable and Comcast.
Discovery Communications also produces TLC and Animal Planet.
