US LEC has passed the 20,000-customer mark, thus doubling its customer base over the past two years. The customer count has increased 54 percent since August of 2003.
All its customers are businesses.
US LEC (Nasdaq: CLEC) has steadily expanded its product offerings in recent months, including a rollout of Voice over Internet Protocol service. Its network now covers 25 states.
