NewsFactor sees good times ahead for storage area networks. Citing figures from the Yankee Group, NewsFactor reports that the databases in which companies store all that new and expanded customer information they are gathering are growing “astronomically.” And the need to keep that and other enterprise data around will drive 10 percent annual growth in the storage-networking market through 2008, Yankee Group says.
