Overture Networks, a developer of platforms for packet-based networks, has been awarded three more patents for its circuit technology.
Overture now owns five patents for circuit emulation.
According to overture, the technology enables its platforms to adjust and deliver telecom services over packet networks.
Overture also enables phone companies to track and bill for traditional “wire” services, such as voice and private lines that pass through packet networks.
