Emory University is the second university to contract with Expression Analysis for use of its gene expression services.
The Affymetrix platform delivers microarray capabilities in helping genetic researchers study the state of diseases, identify drug targets, and profile changes in genes.
Financial terms of the multi-year agreement were not disclosed.
Duke University also works with Expression Analysis.
“Knowing that (Expression Analysis) will provide the highest quality data-generation for our researchers, we can devote additional time to effective experimental design and subsequent data analysis,” said Kim Gernert, director of BimCore (Biomolecular Computing Resource) at Emory, in a statement.
