BCF technology, a developer of web services, and other applications for insurance and financial services, is moving its corporate headquarters to Charlotte from Carlsbad, CA.
BCF was founded in 2001 by Fred Covely, who was as a principal of Peregrine Systems and helped write Peregrine Network Management System, its flagship product.
“The relocation represents an exciting step forward for the whole company and its strategic vision,” Covely said in a statement. “The new headquarters has tremendous flexibility and will enable the company to introduce additional products and services at a much quicker pace.”
The company also said president Frederick Waite has assumed chief operating officer duties. He joined the company in 2002.
