NORCROSS,Optimus Solutions, an information technology partner, and IBM will present a half-day seminar to discuss the benefits of server consolidation and data solutions.
The event, which is set for Thursday, will include presentations on storage area networks plus backup and recovery solutions. Vision Solutions, a business partner of Optimus, and Ed Clary, chief information officer of Haverty Furniture Companies, will also take part. Vision will discuss Orion, a new server that includes Windows, Linux Red Hat and SuSE solutions.
Robert McCormick, vice president of worldwide sales for IBM’s eServer group, will discuss IBM’s iSeries strategy and IT optimization offerings.
