SEC Associates, which provides computer validation and compliance consulting to regulated industries, and SAS are teaming up to launch a computer compliance course.
Titled “Risk Based Approach to Computer Compliance Focusing on Clinical Trials”, it is designed to assist organizations the extent of compliance needed to meet regulatory requirements.
“Given the importance of compliance in the pharmaceutical industry, SAS is excited about our partnership with SEC,” said Herbert Kirk, vice president of the education division at SAS. “This partnership will allow companies to stay current with the ever-changing regulations in the field and make sure their computer-related systems are in compliance with industry best practices.”
SEC Associates works with some 100 clients. Among them are Abbott Labs, Baxter, Bayer, GSK, e-Trials, Merck and Quintiles.
