ASHEVILLE,The Blue Ridge Entrepreneurial Council will have an “open mike night” at its next meeting on Aug. 17.
“We are especially looking for participation from entrepreneurs in software and hosted services, life sciences, energy, creative industries, film and innovative manufacturing industries,” says Jim Roberts, executive director of the BREC. “For example, if you were in the film industry in western North Carolina, I am sure that you face the normal challenges of finding investors, distribution of the film and finding the right talent.”
