TelAtlantic Communications has purchased two network switches from Tekelec for use in Kansas and Missouri.
The Tekelec 7000 Class Packet Switches are designed for use with next-generation multimedia fixed and mobile networks.
TelAltantic, which is based in Alexandria, VA, operates a number of rural local exchange carriers.
