JBoss, a provider of open source server solutions for the enterprise, has hired Rob Bearden as its vice president of sales and marketing.
Bearden comes to JBoss with more than 15 years of experience. He most recently served as president of the Americas for i2 Technologies.
Also on Tuesday, JBoss landed Nielsen Media research as a costumer for its J2EE application server. Nielsen is one of the best-known ratings measurement firms.
JBoss said its server applications “integrates with commercial database technologies to allow clients to analyze Nielsen’s core television audience measurement data.”
