WEST POINT,ITC DeltaCom has selected a customer to test a multimedia communications server from Nortel that generates revenue from VoIP services.
The communications company said it had been testing the Nortel MCS 5200 Voice over Internet Protocol device internally for several months.
The server is designed to enable collaboration, personalized multimedia services and mobility, ITC DeltaCom said.
