Internap has signed a partnership agreement that will enable it to expand its Internet routing control and other services to three new Asian markets.

Internap said it would offer services in Hong Kong, Singapore and Sydney, Australia, under the agreement with Equinix Internet Business Exchange.

A private network access point will be established in Equinix data centers, and Equinix will provide support as well as circuit provisioning, Internap said.

Internap already offers services in Tokyo.

Internap (Amex: IIP) reported its quarterly earnings on Aug. 5, saying it cut losses to $4 million or a penny a share on revenues of $36 million. Revenues were up 5 percent. Internap lost $10 million in the same period last year.

The company said it boosted customer count by a net 91.
