NewsFactor reports that an IBM executive told the LinuxWorld gathering in San Francisco on Thursday that IBM won’t wage a patent war against Linux. The right balance between collaborative innovation and respect for intellectual property must be found, said Nick Donofrio, IBM senior vice president for technology and manufacturing.
