Interactive Media Solutions (IMS), a developer of voice-to-animation software, has released a new version of its animation tool.
The Character Generator Studio is available in professional and hobbyist/inexperienced professional versions.
IMS describes the release as being created for multimedia developers who want to incorporate talking animated characters into eLearning titles, web site graphics, CD-ROM/DVDs, and other applications and presentations.
“This completely revised version of our IMS CharacterGenerator StudioTM MX product was developed based on very important input and feedback from our existing customers, ” said Donovan Moxey, Ph.D., founder & CEO of IMS, in a statement.
New features and improvements include: new user interface design; unlimited character storage capacity; new shadow maker; texture modifier (for modifying the face); a Mouth Position Exaggeration control (Tweak lip synchronization); picture in picture for 3D scenes; up to five minutes of audio per voice file
IMS customers include Valve Software, Moshofsky/Plant, Alois Wild, and the BBC.
