GREENVILLE,Peter Nyberg, president and co-founder of 21 CD in Durham, is the newest board member of Span-America Medical Systems.
Span-America (Nasdaq: SPAN) named Nyberg to the board on Tuesday.
The company also announced it is increasing its annual cash dividend to 16 cents, up 2 cents.
21 CD creates custom multimedia presentations on uniquely shaped CD-ROMs.
Nyberg has worked in the healthcare field for Promedix and Broadlane. He also worked for seven years at Duke University Health System.
