The payment solutions division of NCR Corp. has picked Identify Software to improve its reliability of payment processing and reduce application costs.
NCR’s group will use Identify’s AppSightT Application Support System as part of efforts to comply with Check 21 – the Check Clearing for the 21st Century Act — that goes into effect on October 28. The act is designed to streamline check processing by mandating that financial institutions have the ability to accept and process a substitute check, a paper reproduction created from an image of the original check, according to Identify.
