Books tied in with SAS software will soon be put on shelves in 15,000 bookstores around the world.

SAS announced Wednesday an agreement with Ingram Book Group, a global book wholesaler, to offer SAS titles. SAS said growing sales of its software has led to increased demand for documentation.
Books had been offered for sale through SAS offices.

“Ingram Book Group’s established wholesale channels provide SAS with a broad worldwide distribution model,” said Sean Gargan, director of SAS Publishing, in a statement. “Offering SAS books through Ingram Book Group provides us with a new way to increase visibility and promote our brand to the technical community.”
