Robert Ingram, vice chairman of pharmaceuticals at GlaxoSmithKline, quit the board of directors at Molson on Wednesday.

Ingram cited workload and other commitments. He voted recently in favor of merging with Adolph Coors.

Ingram sits on the boards of Edwards Lifesciences Corp., Lowe’s Cos., Misys Plc, Nortel Networks Corp., OSI Pharmaceuticals Inc., Wachovia Corp. and Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, according to Molson.
