Andrew Filipowski, chairman and CEO of SilkRoad Equity, will be the keynote speaker at the annual InfoTech conference.

Filipowski, who is known as Flip, has founded several firms over his career. SilkRoad Equity is an investment firm focused on emerging technologies for web applications. He also was named as one of the 100 most influential people in information technology by Upside magazine in 2000.

The Council for Entrepreneurial Development’s 14th annual show will be Oct. 8 at the Sheraton Imperial in RTP.
