Internet Security Systems reported a slight increase in earnings for the second quarter even as revenues jumped 18 percent.

ISS (Nasdaq: ISSX) said it earned $5.46 million, or 11 cents a share, up from $4.89 million and 10 cents a share for the same quarter in 2003.

Revenues jumped 18 percent to $69.5 million.

ISS forecast earnings of 49 cents to 57 cents for the entire year on revenues ranging between $280 million and $290 million.
