Venturi Partners, a provider of information technology staffing services, is being acquired by privately held COMSYS on Houston, TX.
According to The Business Journal of Charlotte, the Venturi headquarters, which is manned by some 70 people, will be closed. Venturi executives will also depart from the merged company during a transition period, The Business Journal said.
The combined company will employ 4,900 people and operate 37 offices, COMSYS and Venturi said in a statement.
As part of the deal, Venturi is selling its Venturi Staffing Partners commercial staffing division to Compass CS. Terms were not disclosed.
