SOUTHERN PINES,Gatelinx, a developer of technology focused on Internet Protocol multimedia, says it has developed new software that improves Voice over IP video and voice quality.
Its Network Address Translation application is designed to reduce latency and increase the frame rate for video. The company has applied for a patent to cover the application, which can navigate firewalls and provide secure connections.
Gatelinx says the application improves VoIP voice and video improvement over standard broadband.
