Using hardware from Nortel, AT&T Wireless has unveiled its upgraded high-speed wireless network in four North American markets.
The network features Universal Mobile Telecommunications System technology and delivers data at up to eight times faster than dialup connections along with virtual private network capability and multimedia applications.
The network was launched in Detroit, Phoenix, San Francisco and Seattle.
