US LEC, a provider of telecommunications and data services across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast, reports that it is gaining more traction in Virginia markets.
US LEC, which is based in Charlotte, says it has nearly 3,000 business customers in Virginia. Its total customer based recently passed 19,000.
US LEC (Nasdaq: CLEC) has been offering service in Virginia since 1999. It now offers coverage in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Williamsburg, Newport News, Richmond, Petersburg/Hopewell, Fredericksburg, Charlottesville, Alexandria-Arlington, Fairfax-Vienna, Falls Church-McLean and Herndon.
