WILMINGTON…PPD Inc. reports net revenue of $200.5 million or 41 cents a share for the second quarter, an increase of 8.4 percent over net revenue of $185 million and 30 cents a share in the same quarter last year.
PPD said its income from operations fell 5.7 percent in the quarter to $32.2 million. Last year the company received a milestone payment for initiation of Phase III clinical trials for dapoxetine that boosted its second quarter income.
PPD has more than 1,000 employees in Research Triangle region facilities.
