CARY…North Carolina’s Emergency Medical System has adopted the thinking data event system software made by ThotWave Technologies, the company says.
The application, called PreMIS, collects incident records from emergency medical service providers throughout the state. The data can be used for bioterrorism surveillance, provider reports, and billing support, the company says.
“We tried to be sensitive to the needs of a publicly funded organization to do more with less,” said Jeff Wright, chief technology officer for ThotWave. “Not only does the Event System free system administration resources from having to routinely check the ETL process, it provides a foundation for all sorts of proactive information delivery.”
ThotWave Technologies is a Cary-based consulting firm which sells business intelligence software to clients in the energy, financial services, retail, and life sciences industries.
